Argentine Tango classes at the Fred Astaire West Hartford, have been established by Tango Sueño in 2023. They regularly take place on Saturdays with the 11:30 am class covering the essentials for all levels and the 12:30 am class introducing intermediate and advanced concepts. Argentine Tango classes at the First Church of Christ, have been established by Tango Sueño in 2013. Weekly group classes were held before the COVID-19 pandemic, however with the reopening of Milford classes and the new Saturday classes in West Hartford the Friday group classes have been discountinued, except the privates.

The First Church is conveniently located downtown Middletown, near the intersection of Main Street and Court Street, providing easy access through route 66, I91 and hwy 9. It is a central location for dancers from areas such as Middletown, Hartford, Willimantic, Norwich, Waterbury, New Britain and from the coast Mystic, Lyme, Branford, Guilford, New London, Madison and beyond.

The instructor Gem Duras has been teaching at the greater Hartford area for more than 6 years. He was initially a guest teacher with Dale Ellison for the Hartford Argentine Tango Society, teaching in Plainville. Later he gave workshops at Hartford Ballroom during the CT Tango Festival and opened classes in South Glastonbury then Middletown.
