Gem Duras taught Argentine Tango in Stamford starting 20010 at Latin Moves, Stamford Adult Ed, Palms Night Club, then Sportsplex Stamford. After the closure of the dance studio at Sportsplex during early days of the Covid-19 pandemic, the weekly classes reopened at Fred Astaire Greenwich in 2022. In addition to its vicinity to Stamford, the Greenwich location is conveniently located for Westchester/NY based dancers. The weekly Sunday group classes take place at Fred Astaire Greenwich which is right by the Greenwich Library, on Route 1.

The Greenwich classes privode a central location for dancers from areas such as Stamford, Greenwich, Darien, Fairfield as well as Westchester NY, Rye, Scarsdale, White Plains and beyond.
